Tuesday Night Music Club was created by BMI as a platform to showcase and help acts looking for record or publishing deals and to provide a great networking opportunity for professionals in the entertainment industry. Previous performers include Mercury Prize nominee KT Tunstall.
Over the last couple of years we have witnessed a big push from certain areas of the music industry to make the Country Music brand far more acceptable in the European markets especially the UK.
It is exciting to see one of the UK's leading talents in this format, Rachael Warwick, welcomed by the likes of Gibson, BMI and Billboard and to have Rachael invited to headline such an event proves that the industry here in the UK recognise that the best way to promote this format is from a 'home grown' level and with someone like Rachael and her band ( 'New Jack Union' ) flying the 'Country Music' flag the British industry have something they can recognise & associate with and the European and UK public have a very beautiful and talented artist in Rachael who they can relate to and call their own.
