Rachael Warwick & New Jack Union , the only Country music artists to perform at France’s #1 Blues Festival in 2007......

Blues gets a little Country.....

European Country Music artist Rachael Warwick and her band New Jack Union are the only "country" artists who are performing at the 2007 Cognac Blues Passions festival this summer.

After performing to a sell out crowd at the Hennessy Christmas Blues show in 2006, Rachael and her band have been invited back to Cognac this summer to perform their unique style of Country music to the 40,000 visitors that attend the Blues Passions Festival each year.

The Blues Passions festival fills the picturesque town of Cognac with the sound of the blues every July. This year the festival will be on the 25,26,27 & 28th July. Rachael Warwick and New Jack Union will be performing on all four days.    Past headliners include Joe Cocker, The Mannish Boys, Bill Wyman & The Rythm Kings..........

Blues Passions brings together international artists and up-and-coming blues performers. The festival is organised by people who love the music and deals with every aspect of the blues. This year they have decided to break with tradition and add a little country by inviting Rachael and New Jack Union to perform. Aside from the fabulous music, there will be workshops, an exhibition, a conference on the history of the blues, a gastronomic fair with cognac tasting and jam sessions.

The full programme will be shown on their website shortly.
